Yes, you can absolutely microwave wine to bring it to the right temperature. I frequently store wine in the refrigerator (leftover wine, or when I’m trying to chill a bottle) only to realize that it’s too cold come time to serve.
What I do
Pour the cold wine into a glass container and microwave it in 10-second bursts. It works beautifully and doesn’t hurt the wine at all. My recommendation is to start with 10-second bursts and move down to shorter times once the wine gets close to the right serving temperature.
